The main mission of the biodiversity unit is to support our internal clients, such as project managers for the development, construction and maintenance of parks, on ecological and biodiversity issues.
Our motivation
Our business is at the heart of biodiversity. The studies carried out on each of our sites enable us to design a project that fits in perfectly with the environment.
Our main motivation is innovation and experimentation for the benefit of biodiversity. This project will make it possible to have simple information on the quality of the biodiversity found on our photovoltaic farms to communicate to customers.
Our project
The objective of the project is to create a biodiversity indicator on photovoltaic farms using several parameters in order to measure the variation in biodiversity of our installations over time and space.
We have installed a beehive (Bee monitoring) on a French photovoltaic park in order to assess the biodiversity of the site. Indeed, the pollen collected and analysed will give us information on the surrounding plant species and thus on the whole ecosystem of the park and its surroundings.
Depending on the positive results obtained, we will consider duplicating this indicator method on other French photovoltaic parks.
