Within the framework of a comprehensive project to protect the environment and biodiversity on its site in Braine-l’Alleud, UCB introduced 5 bee colonies who will pollinate some 20 billion flowers a year… and monitor biodiversity and pollution on a surface of 700 hectare. UCB also wanted to raise awareness amongst its staff by involving them in the project. To help them, BeeOdiversity organised honey-sampling sessions and visits to the colonies.

By giving us an opportunity to explain the issue and the major challenges pollinators and biodiversity are facing to their staff, UCB allowed us to raise awareness amongst a great many people. This has really stood to the BeeOdiversity project and we thank UCB for that.
