BeeOdiversity is looking for a Bioengineer Junior.

BeeOdiversity is looking for a bioengineer junior (or equivalent) with 1 to 3 years‘ experience to strengthen the current activity and support the ecological transition. 

Job description

This job description will be co-created as we believe it is important that the job meets the passion and interests. 

As a Junior Bee in the BeeOsolution team, you will be required to support customers in their efforts to preserve/regenerate biodiversity, and more specifically to : 

• Analyze data relating to biodiversity and pressure effects (e.g. agricultural pollutants), whether from field solutions, satellite data, etc.
• Generate site analysis reports with recommendations for regenerating biodiversity and reducing pressure effects.
• Provide project management support
• Participate in site inventories
• Participate in the development of innovative solutions
• Mapping  

 In addition, you will support other teams with your expertise (e.g. BeeOsales, R&D, etc.). 

Expertise / experience and other requirements

• Based in Belgium or France
•  Competence in agronomy and ecology with expertise in the fields of biodiversity (ecosystem services, naturalist knowledge, regulations,…) and/or the agricultural sector (inputs, PPP, technical itineraries, etc).
•  English and Dutch required.

Optional expertise to be highlighted 

• eDNA or other biodiversity monitoring solutions
• Knowledge of analytical chemistry
• Programming skills
• Team management
• Sales, innovation, research
• Network with CSR managers, environmental managers
• Knowledge of IT tools: office automation and geomatics (QGIS, ArcGIS)
• Knowledge of scientific and associative networks.
