Loïc van Cutsem

His experience
Loïc studied International Business Management in Belgium and in Austria. He started his career in strategy consultancy, moved on to various marketing and business controlling roles, before he became Director of Sustainability/CSR for Proximus, the major Belgian telecom operator. In this role, Loic led a team to successfully integrate social and environmental issues into the business strategy and position Proximus as a leading sustainability player.
As his passion for social entrepreneurship grew stronger, he co-created an accelerator and a crowdfunding platform for social enterprises. In parallel to his managerial role, Loïc coached and advised numerous social enterprises willing to sustain their activities and grow their impact. He later co-founded and co-led Impact Transfer Agency with Ashoka, supporting impact businesses to scale and replicate their impact in new geographies in collaboration with an international ecosystem of funders and implementation partners.
Loic lives in Vienna and is the proud father of two boys.
His role
Loic is helping BeeOdiversity to scale its impact internationally by establishing strategic partnerships with other actors in the ecosystem and developing BeeOdiversity´s activities in the DACH and CEE regions.
What motivates him?
Loic is passionate about climate change, biodiversity and reinventing education. He believes all actors have a role to play to address our current societal challenges and sees partnerships and collaborations as a crucial ingredient for this transition.
