Her experience

With her degree in Agricultural Engineering, specialisation “Territories and Sustainable Development” from ISARA-Lyon and her degree in Biological Engineering, option Environmental Engineering from IUT in Caen in the bag, Mélanie immediately threw herself into projects that gave meaning to her scientific training.

She did an internship at the BOREA Joint Research Unit “Biology of Organisms and Aquatic Ecosystems” in Caen, followed by another one at The Sea Turtle Protection Society in Kyparissia, Greece. She returned to France to manage a project for the Communauté de Communes de la Vallée du Garon – CCVG (Federation of municipalities of the Garon Valley).

Her role

Mélanie joined BeeOdiversity in 2018. She works in Research and Development focusing on anything from the mapping tool to the analysis of territories, through to the scientific interpretation and communication of results.

What motivates her?

Mélanie wants to work on things that are meaningful, for the environment, and on matters that improve the world of tomorrow. Her vision and ambition extend well beyond the borders.
