Flaxseed is the mainstay of the activities of the Vandeputte Group which produces soap and detergents, on the one hand, and oil and oleochemical derivatives, on the other hand. Vandeputte is therefore well aware of the importance of pollination and houses 2 bee colonies on its site in Mouscron.
